Additionally, she threatened to punch any Son of Prometheus in the throat if they dared call Aloy "Champion" or "Savior" to her face, and ordered them to acquire the huntress' Focus in order to get some leverage over Sylens.Įrend managed to extract data on a location called First Forge from the Focus of a Sons of Prometheus agent. However, the alliance's shared camps were raided one-by-one by Aloy, whom Asera placed a kill order on. She also shared the technology with Regalla's Rebels, another group seeking vengeance against the Carja. Asera used the information to reform the group into the Sons of Prometheus, an organization bent on destroying the Carja and exacting vengeance for the Red Raids. She was contacted by the Banuk wanderer Sylens, who provided her with the technology necessary to override machines. Armed with this knowledge, Asera used the override tech she captured to override several Tallnecks and placed lures on them, using the Tallnecks as a signal booster and planned to move said Tallnecks to Meridian.Īfter surviving her fall at Day's End, Asera and her followers fled to the Forbidden West. Talonreach would eventually be abandoned after setting up a lure that used the ruin's satellite dish to project the signal even further, leading to machines swarming the valley below at Dawn's Grasp. They would also set up camp in the ruins of Talonreach, Elder's Calling, and Devil's Anger for salvaging operations and to conduct experiments with machine lures. In one such raid, Asera would get her hands on some override tech from an Eclipse camp. They would raid Carja and Shadow Carja camps and convoys for supplies, often killing their victims in brutal fashion. ![]() Plot against Meridian įollowing Dervahl's capture after the failure of his plot to destroy Meridian, Asera assumed leadership of what little remained of his ragtag followers. She remained in captivity for an unknown amount of time, though she evidently aided Dervahl during his plot to destroy Meridian a few years later. To prevent him from potentially jeopardizing the alliance, the allies got rid of Dervahl and proceeded to arrest his loyalists, Asera among them. They were overheard by Erend, who relayed the information to Ersa and Avad. Dervahl feigned acceptance, but later that night he conspired with Asera to destroy Meridian and wipe out the Carja. Two years later, Prince Avad arrived at the freebooter camp to forge an alliance with the Oseram and end the Red Raids for good. Upon Ersa's escape and return to the Claim, Asera was among the people who accused her of striking a deal with the Carja to sell the freebooters out. During one raid on a Carja convoy transporting Oseram captives to the Sundom, their fellow freebooter Ersa was captured and taken to Meridian. She was his most important follower and second-in-command.
